County Clerk Plans To Secretly Record Voters In New Mexico
A recently confirmed election worker in Doña Ana County, New Mexico plans to secretly record voters during November’s presidential election in order to expose non-existent “voter fraud,” according to public posts.
The user, “CrankHandler1991,” was confirmed as a Doña Ana County election clerk in September. Posts observed on far-right forum, “The Donald,” show they intend to surreptitiously record voters while working, and potentially leak that footage to right-wing propagandist James O’Keefe. Because this is almost certainly a crime, this publication has notified Doña Ana County officials.
